This depends on a number of factors, including a child’s age and any referral concerns. During consultation we can advise on appropriate assessments and the approaches considered likely to be most effective.

Following booking, background forms are sent to parents. These must be completed and returned before the assessment, along with recent school reports and other information relevant to your child’s situation..

Assessments are conducted within a calm and focused practicing environment, with space for movement breaks and a comfortable reception area.

Yes, an Educational and Psychological Assessment can diagnose learning conditions such as dyslexia or dyscalculia. In some cases the input of another specialist may be advised.
Diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and ASD require a Paediatric Assessment.

We provide a range of follow-up options including individualised learning support, model sessions for school and home learning, study skills, group programmes in Literacy and Maths, and communication with school and other professionals.

Fees are requested to be paid in full before assessment, unless by prior arrangement. A minimum of 7 days notice is required to reschedule bookings.

Yes, we have considerable experience in working with children with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties. Our Learning Programme Tip Top-Lit. has been developed specifically for dyslexic and/or low literacy achieving children.
