A programme that truly changes life paths

Our son Alexander joined the programme in Year 5. He is a clever and social boy, but due to dyslexia his academic growth was significantly held back across all topics; because his self-worth was impacted by his slow reading - it made him feel self-conscious and inferior to his classmates.

As his parents, we were aware of his dyslexia but we hesitated with a formal assessment, as we did not see how a diagnosis would help his self-worth - it might entitle him to increased help in terms of tools, but we did not see it as a path that would fundamentally reset his self-perception.

Early in Year 5 we heard about the programme, and immediately signed up. When we first read about it, we could relate to the belief in a link between self-worth and learning, and how increasing self-worth is the first step in reaching one’s academic potential; then, as part of that journey, one works with the challenges caused by dyslexia. We enrolled our son Alexander in a 12-week school programme and continued with private sessions thereafter.

The decision to enrol our son into this programme is the single best thing we have ever done for him in terms of positively changing his life-path. In a very short time - less than 3 months - he went from portraying himself as a small matchstick man in the corner of a piece of paper to a king flying out of a canon. In the same period, he went from sounding out words to reading almost fluently.

After this breakthrough his mindset was changed forever, and today Alexander is a confident teenager. We cannot describe in words our gratitude to the programme and to Mrs Sabine Stienert-Parker, who we were lucky to have as our programme director. You single handed changed our son's life with your approach!

Parents of A (Year 5)

Sabine first assessed our son, who already had an ADHD diagnosis at the time, when school suggested we test him for dyslexia.

At the time he struggled academically. Sabine saw and understood him at once. She has since (going on two years) been working with our son on a weekly basis and is not only incredibly insightful and supportive with him but also a fantastic communicator with parents, regularly providing updates without any pushing.

Sabine has been his biggest supporter and certainly been an incredible influence on his academic improvement since she started working with him. He is now in the top of his class.

Parents of C (Year 3)

After a period of difficulty with Maths, my daughter had a small number of sessions using the programme late in the year, and the impact was immediate.

Her confidence increased noticeably and she became far more open to engaging with Maths, where it had previously been a source of anxiety. The shift in her attitude to learning was clear and lasting, and made a genuinely positive difference to her experience at school.

 Parents of H (Year 2)

My daughter and son have both been fortunate enough to take part in Sabine’s programme.

They have both been diagnosed with dyslexia and have been working with Sabine for some time, and the difference we have seen in them has been remarkable.

Sabine was able to clearly identify each child’s individual strengths and areas of difficulty—different for both—and thoughtfully build the foundations they needed to improve, while also nurturing and developing their strengths.

Through the programme, my previously shy and somewhat under-confident children grew noticeably more confident in their abilities. They became more aware of both their strengths and their challenges, with those challenges becoming less apparent as they progressed.

I am truly excited to see what the future holds for them and am incredibly grateful that we met Sabine. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any parents whose children have been diagnosed with dyslexia or who are struggling with confidence at school.

Parent of E & C (Years 2 & 4)

Sabine has been assessing and supporting our son with his dyslexia, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her work.

She is incredibly encouraging, patient, and thoughtful in her approach. From the very beginning, she made our son feel understood and supported, and she has a wonderful ability to build trust.

This care and deep understanding of dyslexia permeate this entire programme.

We highly recommend Sabine to any family looking for expert, compassionate support.

Parents of S (Year 7)

We have worked with Sabine for over a year, and her approach to building both confidence and academic understanding is truly exceptional.

My daughter, who previously had a real aversion to Maths, has made transformational progress. Most notably, her confidence has blossomed in both Maths and English, enabling her to tackle increasingly complex questions independently.

Sabine’s approach is holistic. She has a deep and thoughtful understanding of how each child learns and how they feel about themselves in the classroom. It is this highly tailored approach that truly unlocks potential.

I feel an immense sense of comfort knowing we will continue working with Sabine over the coming year as we prepare for the 11+, ensuring my daughter has all the support she needs.

  Parents of I (Year 5)

Sabine has helped our son grow into a confident, capable reader through her unique and nurturing framework.

As a child with dyslexia, our son has flourished in an environment that combines clear goal-setting, affirmations, and rigorous yet creative teaching.

Sabine has an exceptional ability to build confidence by developing strengths while carefully supporting weaker areas, always finding innovative and fun ways to learn. Her sessions never felt like tutoring, but more like ’special focus time’ which our son genuinely loved attending - he never once wanted to miss a session.

The transformation in his confidence and skills has been remarkable.

Parents of CJ (Year 3)

Our son has been working with Dr Sabine for almost two years and we have seen a marked improvement in all areas of his academic work, as well as his general attitude towards school.

Our son looks forward to all his sessions and independently implements the tools that he has been given - affirmations, instilling motivation, and a methodical approach to manage any challenges that may appear.

His self-confidence has sky-rocketed, and as a result his friendships have strengthened and he is taking more risks outside of school in extra-curricular activities.

This kind of support would benefit any child in building their confidence and competencies across the board.

Parents of R (Year 2)

We feel incredibly grateful to Sabine for the support she gave our son during his 11+ year.

Sabine worked on developing his literacy skills, but always with the wider goal of building his confidence and helping him believe in himself. Her warm, calm and caring approach meant he genuinely loved going to see her each week. She created a space where he felt understood and encouraged, which made such a difference for a child with ADHD. Over the course of the year, we saw not only clear academic progress, but a real growth in his confidence and resilience.

By the end of the year, he was far more self-assured and willing to take on challenges. We’re so thankful for the positive and lasting impact Sabine has had on him.

 Parents of A (Year 6)

Our daughter has been seeing Dr Sabine on and off for the past two years to support her dyslexia and her wonderfully inquisitive mind.

During that time, Dr Sabine has been an exceptional source of guidance for our whole family as we navigated how best to support her learning and development.

What has been most transformative is the positive, “can-do” self-belief Dr Sabine has helped nurture. The confidence, language and mantras she has instilled in our daughter have made a lasting difference, not only academically but emotionally. We have seen her grow in resilience and self-esteem in ways that feel deeply meaningful.
